SA REC League – Starts Fall of 2015
Springfield Area Soccer Club (SASA) announces the launch of its new “Rec Soccer League,” an instructional soccer league for beginning/recreational soccer players ages 6-14. The Rec League’s mission is to develop each player’s soccer skill set while nurturing their understanding and love for the game of soccer. Players can build friendships, be creative and learn teamwork in a relaxing and cooperative environment. The league will be comprised of recreational soccer players as well as players attending the same school. Teams will play once a week with parent coaches and SASA will sponsor TWO clinics for the players and one Clinic for the coaches. Both will be overseen by our professional soccer staff at SASA. The league will consist of a U6 Division for boys, girls or co-ed all the way up to U14 Division.
The inaugural season will begin August 28th, 2015 and last through October.

Age groups: The Soccer League is open to girls & boys in the community ages 6-14. There will be multiple brackets per age group.
Season: The season will begin Friday, August 28-29th. The season will end Saturday, October 23rd. 8 games total
Games: Players will be assigned to a team for the entire season. Games will be on Wednesday (Older Groups), Friday nights after 6:00pm and Saturdays starting at 8:00am
